Below 5 users, compare the per-seat cost of Business against a per-account tool that lets each person keep an individual paid account.
About
In practice. What you can do with NordPass.
NordPass stores passwords, passkeys and sensitive files in an xChaCha20-encrypted vault, with autofill, a password generator and a breach scanner on paid plans. The free plan works but is capped at one device at a time, which pushes most people toward Premium fairly quickly.
For teams, Business and Enterprise add shared folders, group management and an activity log, but both require a 5-user minimum, and the cheapest Teams tier only comes in fixed 10-user packs. A single freelancer who wants business-grade sharing for one or two collaborators will end up paying for seats they do not use.
The prices shown on the site are first-term promotions and NordPass does not publish the renewal price: ask for it before committing, and budget for more than the discounted rate after the first term.
Practical uses
A solo freelancer replacing browser-saved passwordsAn encrypted vault and a breach scanner.
A 5 to 10 person team sharing client logins through folders instead of a spreadsheet.

Pros and cons. What NordPass does well, and what to expect.
Pros
Cheap entry price for a solo user, under 2 euros a month for Premium.
Clean, fast interface across desktop, mobile and browser extensions.
Export to CSV keeps the door open to switch managers later.
Cons
Business tiers force a 5 or 10 user minimum, poor fit for a 1 to 3 person team.
Advertised prices are promotional; renewal rates are higher and not published upfront.
When it makes sense. Keep NordPass, or challenge it?
Keep if
You are a solo user or a team of 5+ that wants a cheap, simple shared vault.
Challenge if
You are a team of 2 to 4 people, since the cheapest business tier still bills for 5 to 10 seats.
Our verdict. What to know about NordPass.
Why this verdict
Average
Added value
The free plan covers one device; paid plans are shown from €1.99/mo as a first-term promotion, and the regular price is not published.
Simplicity
Setup is autofill, autosave and a password generator; a first useful vault takes minutes, not a training session.
Fit for purpose
Delivers what it promises for storage, autofill and sharing without needing third-party tools.
Performance
Covers the standard password-manager feature set (SSO, provisioning, Splunk/Sentinel) at Enterprise, but stays behind 1Password on advanced secrets-management use cases.
Reversibility
Passwords can be exported to CSV to move to another manager, per NordPass's own support documentation.
