Add Figma Buzz when self-serve brand templates remove repeated production requests from the design team; otherwise keep the work in Figma Design or a simpler tool.

    About

In practice. What you can do with Figma Buzz.

Figma Buzz is Figma's brand asset production workspace. Designers publish templates with editable or locked regions, then marketing teams adapt them for social posts, ads, events, and short documents.

Bulk creation imports text and images from CSV or XLSX files. Grid view and multi-edit then make it easier to review campaigns spanning many formats. Buzz also includes assisted image editing, image generation, video import and trimming, and plugins.

During beta, Buzz is available on every Figma plan and seat type. The free plan can therefore be used to test the editor, but publishing team templates requires a paid plan. Buzz is most useful when it turns recurring studio requests into controlled self-serve production.

    Practical uses

    • Publish social templates that marketers can adapt without breaking the brand.
    • Generate localized or personalized variants from a spreadsheet.
    • Manage all campaign formats in a shared grid view.

Pros and cons. What Figma Buzz does well, and what to expect.

    Pros

    • Connects templates directly to assets and components already stored in Figma.
    • Protects brand consistency through editing restrictions.
    • Speeds up high-volume variants with data import and multi-edit.
    • Supports social posts, ads, event materials, and short documents.

    Cons

    • It remains a beta product whose terms can change.
    • Publishing team templates requires a paid plan.
    • Its value drops when teams do not share a library or approval workflow.

When it makes sense. Keep Figma Buzz, or challenge it?

    Keep if

    • Your design team needs to provide reusable brand templates to marketing.
    • You frequently adapt one campaign into many formats or variants.

    Challenge if

    • You need a standalone tool outside the Figma ecosystem.
    • Visual production is occasional and shared templates would add little value.
