Pros and cons
What Feedly does especially well — and the limits to anticipate.
Pros
- Centralises many sources into one feed.
- AI Feeds to prioritise information.
- Clear folder-based organisation.
- Enterprise offering for market intelligence.
Cons
- Very limited free tier (100 sources, 3 feeds, no AI).
- AI features reserved for paid plans.
- Enterprise offering is significantly pricier.
Feedly: when it makes sense.
Feedly makes sense for regular monitoring across many sources; for occasional tracking of a few sites, the very limited free tier or a plain RSS reader suffices.
Keep if
You follow many sources and want to centralise everything.. You do monitoring and want AI to filter the noise.
Challenge if
You follow only a few sites (the very limited free tier barely covers it).. You only check news occasionally.
