Understanding Autodesk Flow Studio.

Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Dynamics / Wonder Studio) is an AI that does work that used to take weeks: it automatically detects an actor in live footage and replaces them with a 3D character, handling animation, lighting and compositing. You film a person, and you get your CG character integrated into the shot. It also includes AI mocap and Wonder 3D (AI 3D model generation).

Acquired by Autodesk, the tool went freemium: a free tier (300 credits/month, 720p), then Lite at $10/month, Standard at $45 and Pro at $95. It's a spectacular time saver for indie VFX and character animation.

For ToolTrim, Flow Studio is one of the most impressive AI challengers in 3D: it automates a whole chain (capture, animation, integration) that used to require teams. It doesn't replace a Maya for fine animation, but it replaces a huge amount of manual steps for anyone wanting to integrate CG characters fast and cheap.
